Auction Office update rollout August 24

New Release

SEO Controls at the lot level

We're exited to introduce our latest feature that gives you complete control over your lot page meta titles and descriptions, making sure you stand out online and gain an edge over your competitors.

We also recognise that time is valuable, especially when managing auctions with hundreds of lots. That is why we have a dynamic fallback option if you don't get around to manually adding your meta information.

Whether you choose to customise each meta title and description or rely on our automated solution, your lots will be optimised for visibility.

Coming in Sep 2024 - Mobile Apps

You asked for it - we've built it!

July 10th 2024: Clients using Auction Office or our Business Central integrations can now access and launch a fully featured mobile app for Apple and Android devices from September 2024 which provides end users with a full login to bid on both timed and live auctions along with full access to their My Account functionality. This game changing release works entirely in tandem with the Auction Marketer web apps to provide an all in one online experience for your clients adding extra value to your private label bidding offering.

To find out more about launch windows and pricing, please speak to your account manager

Clients have increasingly been interested in having their own mobile apps for bidding and client account functionality. We decided to build a single stack for web and apps on the Auction Marketer platform and we are pleased to be launching it in September 2024. For a demo of the app, please reach out to your account manager.

Auction Office update rollout July 24

Summary of Releases and Features

See below for the July releases onto the Auction office product stack. Note: these do not apply for BC clients.

CRM Tools

In the CRM manager we have now added a full toolset to capture calls, meetings, emails and Zoom call recordings against the beer and vendor record cards. This allows admin users to keep a full record of interactions with their clients for future reference. All interactions are searchable. CRM tools has been rolled out to llues of the 2024 Auction Office product. User guides will be added to the Knowledge Base.

SEO Controls at the lot level

In the lot manager area of Auction Office we have added controls to change the URL, lot meta title and lot meta description to override that automated population that is standard. The standard methodology of using the lot name and first characters of lot description will still apply, but the new tool allows admin users to modify and improve the SEO visibilty of entries at the lot level. This will be rolling out to Auction Office 2024 clients through the end of Q3 and your account manager will let you know when it is available. User guides will be added to the Knowledge Base.

Stripe Identity AML tools

The team at Auction Marketer have worked with the Stripe team to launch a set of tools for Stripe Identity that can be invoked during registration, on first bid, or on high values to send end users through a simple desktop to mobile and back journey of uploading a photo ID which is then checked against multiple data points for credit issues, Peps and Sanctions, returning a condition of passed, failed or requires more information that will enable Auctioneers to ensure they have performed any AML KYC due diligence as part of their on boarding or bidder/vendor interaction processes. The link for the Stripe identity record is stored against the user card in Auction office for review. Please note this is a chargeable installation and clients will need to set up a Stripe Identity account. Please speak with your Account Manager if you are interested in a demo.

Google Consent Mode (GCM)

Auction Marketer are offering two solutions to clients to ensure compliance to the new rules from Google. The first simple solution is an opt in/opt out tool approved by Google which can be installed and tested with ease. The second is a more complex tool that covers remarking and 3rd party cookies and incurs an installation fee and a subscription fee. Compliance is becoming more an more important and failure to comply may result in analytical data being hidden from you. Please speak to your account manager about the options and fees for adding GCM to your auction platform.
