First up in our featured lots this week is this excellent hermitage from one of the great French wine estates. Sourced from plots on superb sites in Les Bessards, Rocoules, L’Hermite and Méal among others, this Hermitage pays homage to the skillful art of blending. Additionally, this Jeroboam is signed by Jean-Louis Chave with a "Merci!" and realised a price of £2,200.

Up next is this brilliant mixed case of 6 bottles from Guigal, including 3 bottles of 2012 Ermitage, Ex Voto Blanc and 3 bottles of 2012 Ermitage, Ex Voto Rouge. The Ex Voto Blanc is remarkably aromatic and complex, bursting with acacia flowers, honey and toasted notes whilst the Ex Voto Rouge has black fruit, liquorice, coffee and oriental spices coming through on the nose.

Third up on our featured lots is this Le Greal hermitage. Le Greal is the top cuvee from Marc Sorrel whose domaine owns plots of old vines in some of the best sites of the appellation. 2018 is the year in which Marc retired and his son, Guillaume, officially took over the reins. These bottles are signed by Guillaume Sorrel and had a price realised of £500.

Next up we have this lot which is one of the most famous estates in France, Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aine is synonymous with Hermitage. "La Chapelle" takes its name from the 13th Century church atop the hill of Hermitage that became part of the estate in 1919.
