Client Account Manager (Auctions)

We are looking for candidates to join our fast growing technology business servicing auctioneers across the UK and Ireland

Person Profile

You will have experience of being involved in client pre sale negotiation, client onboarding and post sale customer service to support new auctioneers as they join our ever growing client roster. You will have a positive can do attitude, an amazing eye for detail, exceptional administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple clients.

You know how to be flexible when clients need support, and you will be happy visiting your client portfolio on a regular basis either over Zoom/Teams or face to face.

You will be experienced in providing software demonstrations and the pre-sales process for B2B SaaS software sales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day client account management for a portfolio of clients across multiple auction verticals to act as a point of contact within the business.
  • Assist the auction day manager during busy periods to provide additional support for clients needing help.
  • Manage the pre-sales process for new prospects. Introducing them to the product range, performing product demos, preparing estimates, following up and dealing with questions/objections. Involving tech and leadership team members as necessary.
  • Manage a diary of client interactions to ensure regular communication with active clients to understand sentiment, capture feature requests and introduce new features innovations and upsells.
  • Organise events and client and prospect round tables to introduce product and new features at regular intervals with the leadership team.
  • As part of the on-boarding team to be part of the product training group either on site or at our training facility for the launch of new clients.
  • Working closely with support to understand any commonality of issues and working with the technical team to apply improvements cross the product portfolio.
  • Writing up product use guides and adding them to our online client knowledge base system to help clients ‘self-serve’.
  • Form part of our Continuous improvement team to provide real world use case testing of new product releases feeding back to the scrum team
  • Providing the leadership team with continued client feedback on our software product portfolio and competitor moves.
  • Work with our industry partners on joint sales and marketing ventures
  • Attend selected industry events to promote our business.

Job Skills & Qualification

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage client expectations in a software environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Proven experience (3 yrs minimum) of sales closing and incremental account growth across a broad client portfolio
  • Solid understanding of customer care and client satisfaction drivers

Preferred:

  • Experience of working in the auction industry. Software or client side.
  • Experience of working with Asana and Zendesk
